It's nearly THAT time of year...

It's been a long cold winter, so it's been very nice to see some sunshine this week. I've booked in my first rather large exterior job(for when it warms up just a bit more, call me fussy, but it's better for the paint and better for me!)

Here's one from a while back that I did with a friend.

Wallpaper

I had to strip the existing paper(which funnily enough was exactly the same pattern, but in different colours!) and this was followed by quite some preparation to deal with damp and blown plaster. All straightforward from there. And have now done most rooms in the house. One of my favourite jobs.

Hanging a lovely Farrow & Ball Wallpaper. All woodwork is also F&B Oil based eggshell.

Heavers Mill

Interior walls and exterior windows, a very nice summer job for some very good friends.

Marylebone High Street

A shop on Marylebone High Street. The owner had seen a shop in Milan that had a similar effect on the walls, a kind of pearlescent/metalic wash over a blue basecoat. Pictures don't really do it justice...

Batman & Robin Mural - 98

Here's one I did quite some time ago, back in 98 up in Maida Vale, London.(Also did a little girls princess room in the same house)

Mural Portrait

Photobucket
This was recently done for my daughter as a surprise for her birthday. She was told there was a leak in her room, and that she would therefore not be able to sleep in the room until everything was fixed, but that everything was all fine.

Then she was enlightened on the morning of her birthday!!
